At Love Zero Ventures, we always ask ourselves: how can we support solutions that are MORE convenient, BETTER quality, LOWER cost, with ZERO waste? We are focused on reducing humanity’s impact on the planet through meaningful investing, approaching an ideal target of zero GHG emissions and zero waste. We exist to support the planet’s transition to a sustainable and circular economy, seeking solutions that re-imagine the fundamental systems of our lives. In particular, we’re excited about urban sustainability, food and agriculture services, networked and sharing economies, products and services for new ways of working, transportation, software-as-a-service, materials innovations, and IoT solutions.
Our name also underscores our driving value: love. Love for our Earth, yes, but also for each other. No one life is more valuable than another, and we believe in solutions that prioritize equal access to our planet’s limited resources to ensure that we, the billions of humans that inhabit this Earth, may equitably pursue healthy, secure, and fulfilling lives. We thus seek to fund women-led companies, meaning there is a female founder, C-level exec, or board member, because we know that the climate emergency hurts women more and that solutions must come from a cross-section of society. We’re here to demonstrate that cleantech and climatetech aren’t only a man’s game, and prove women in tech are building winning businesses beyond baby, beauty, and fashion.
At this time, LZV is no longer making new investments, instead focused on supporting our current portfolio. Manuela has shifted gears to focus on her own startup, Automated Water Machines.
